i think this may be the cause also! we will see what changes this will bring.

What boost? Injectors are probably already maxed on it and so your boost limited.

Whats the compression?

This is like someone asking what the weather will in the next 5 days and not even give them a weather map or any information to figure it out. We are just guessing.

HAHAHAHA I know why hes not posting any real info on it.

I remember reading about this FAIL build over on another forum. He has a Stock 2.4l 4g64 3g eclipse block with a Stock evo8 head and evo8 turbo. The Stock block hes refering to is 9.5:1 4g64 which is bumped up to almost 11:1 after the head swap. Which probably lead to the rings failing from the high comp and boost, being the rings are the weakest link in the stock 4g64's. Oh an if i remember correctly hes only pushing 12psi.

I still say its Corr Performance. They know their Civics, but I wouldn't let them touch my Evo, let alone my lawn mower.

no, i did the "tune" myself. and the reason i say "tune", is because all i did was get the knock out, and up the A/F. its not a real aggressive tune, and i even backed off some timming from stock map.

when i say stock, what do you think i mean? this is the evo forum, there for it would be stock evo injectors. trust me, THEY are not maxed out. and again, im not look at the power, im looking at how the curve falls off.

the only FAIL in here is YOU. what are you doing following me? are you gay or somthing?

and if you think that doing the DOHC head swap, jumps the compression up to 11:1, your the bigest dumbass of all. but then again if YOU HAD ACTUALLY DONE A HEAD SWAP, you would know what your are talking about, instead of talking out your ***!

and you dont remember correctlly cause your a dumbass. since you have nothing to add to this, or ANY forum on the headswap, all you can post is "FAIL".

you have nothing good to provide to this forum, so GTFO!

this is a forum, ask a question, get an answer. I purposefully made this thread exactly the way it is, to try and get different answers. To get an “OUTSIDE” the box response.

There's your problem. More boost, and tuning of the timing. Get the AFR's in teh low 11's, decent timing through peak torque (looks about right now, this will depend on the setup) and gently step by step up to 10-12° at 7k, and turn up the boost! 22-23psi peak!

Is this an evo8 or 9? 8's stock cams suck, so you might be about done with it. There may be nothing wrong with this map, except the tune (and arguably lack of mods LOL). Do your homework buddy

I dont know who you think im am but i have a fully built 4g64 w/ evo head and a evo tranny swap.

So STFU. And sense your motor is already ****ed why are you turning up the boost? Thats just stupid. But then again if i had put a stock head on a stock block i would know so much more like you, and not even have 240whp.
