Yeah, we know that you're not questioning our tuning ability but for some reason SgtHaterade doesn't like us and he's not even met us. As Malachi stated before, he did all the tuning on his car.

This bastard project of 3g/Evo is worrisome at best. You have changed your timing manually all the way in both directions with no difference? When is the last time you took a look at he head or what condition the valves were in? I have a strange feeling that you had some valve slap and you bent something. Do a compression test to see what things look like on the rings, pull the head back off if necessary to make sure everything looks kosher.

Your compression ration is going to be pretty high. You sure you want to up the boost to 20 when your rings are already going to be stressed from all that pressure? I mean if you want to experiment, then by all means, but don't waste our time with these broad threads. If you want an answer, a FACTUAL answer, list car, mods, pictures and tune, then we might be able to help you out. All of this back and forth crap is b.s.

In any case this evo was tested on our dyno period and the owner was tuning the car himself. To say slanderous things toward us very juvenile and unethical.

I am not sure why all this vent up anger toward us and to be honest that is great that you care to take the car to some one else to have it worked on or tuned. If you dont trust the tuner or shop then dont take it there. Even if you gave me 5 grand to tune your bucket we would pass on it.

Why dont you come over to a scheduled Dyno Day to see how AWEFUL we really are.
I do apologize. THe lawn mower comment was over the line. No excuse for that.

Corr has built and tuned some very excellent cars, but when it comes the the EVO, I just don't feel you have had the experience other tuners have had.

If I can make it to the AWD dyno day, I would love to make it. I want to see in person what you guys do in comparison to the stories I have read or that have been told to me.

not a problem, show up. as for tuning evo, we've had a few that we've tuned. Just look at our front page and you'll see an evo there. Sure we're not AMS or Buschur but all start from somewhere. Ask ANY tuner in the country and they will lie to you if they told you that they've never had a tune go wrong. The important part is making amends for the mishaps that one makes and hopefully having the client content when they leave. I applaud some of the local evo owners that have come to the shop and let us tune their engines. At the end, I would hope and love, for the local evolution community to grow.
