LOL Actually my complaint is merely because I want a Holden Monaro, not a Pontiac GTO.. The nose itself isnt bad looking at all.. I dislike those wheels though.

While doing my research on the Monaro, its certainly less powerful than our GTO, there's alot of performance for the american market, better gearing, etc...

But if I had to choose between this GTO, and Mitsubishi's GTO (3000GT VR4).. I think at this time I'd go with the Mitsubishi, Brand preference aside, I prefer all wheel drive.. I don't even enjoy driving my 600hp Malibu all that much anymore.

The Holden HSV 427! Friggin sweet!! Also you can see the Holdens front end and get a feel of what REAL wheels would look like on the GTO.

if u bought the GTO im sure u'd change the wheels...seriously now come on, lol.

i wonder how fun it'd be to go drifting in the goat...hmm

just realized, that...my friend has a 77 GTO red with a 3 spd auto, and he can get the tires to chirp easily...when hes goin mash the gas and it drops to 2nd gear and the tires chirp. i got a chick friend that drives a late 80's 5.0 that chan chirp goin into 3rd gear (manual) but yeah im done.....if u've seen xXx with Vin Diesel....that car was a GTO....so bad ***, i wanted one, lol

that page....said this was teh 1/4 mile
11.8 sec @ 122 mph

now im not sure....but if u run it down in 11.8...wont u be closer to like 140 or something?? i thought it was much faster trap speed than that...i dunno maybe it jumps to 100 and slows down?? anyways just curious

Naw, 140mph would be 10s. You figure this type of car, being RWD V8. If it ran a 12.8, 112 mph would seem normal and if it ran a 13.8, 102 mph would seem about right. Does my break down make sense?
