Well, I test drove it like 2 times. Since I have something else other than "racing" to do with my life, I have to say I'm no expert in car. I drives like grandmas

sorry for the mix up

sorry for the mix up Lan Evo, i meant to direct the question to Da Tenshi.
The Lexus IS300 is a great car and its not the worst car that lexus has ever made. It maybe slow in first gear but its fast after that. The start isnt even that bad with one if you know how to drive. It is expensive to upgrade but its all worth it and there are plenty of aftermarket parts for the car. It has the N/A supra engine. Id take a IS over a s2k and a IS and wreck a mini cooper-s anyways that and your GS spyder.
now does it make sense? Again, sorry for the mix up.

May also want to look into this (comes out this November):

Cheaper (Base retail is looking like about $1k less than the IS), *MUCH* faster (275+ HP V6 w/6sp manual).

Oooh...Skyline I mean G35 coupe. Sexy it may be, but I'd still rather get the 350Z. Pretty much the same basic car but cheaper without the luxury options. Speaking of G35's anyone seen the one with the Zero Lift package? I'm curious as to how it affects the ride quality. Would love to take one out and see what it could do...

Well the main diff between the g35c and 350z is you can throw **** in the backseat of the g35 when someone is riding with you....whereas with the 350z you cant because it has none !!! The fact that the g35 is 2+2 instead of 2seater is why I like it more.

Gotta agree with Mental, I'd just wait 'til Evo comes stateside. Failing that, I would definitely hook up a 350Z, regardless of seating issues (I don't have any friends anyway! ). Besides, it has a trunk...right?

take the turbo and 6-speed from a new supra and you'll be set maybe an aftermarket intercooler and you'll have 300 hp. i saw someone do this to a gs300 on speedvision.
