So you are saying you are tired of waiting for the Evo (which has a confirmed release) and went and put a deposit on a WRX STi (which does not).

I don't see the logic.

The EVO is confimed but when.
We have no official date.
Knowing manufacture it could be January or June of 2003.

Remenber the MKIV supra was suppose to come out in 1992. Well Mazda came out with the RX7 (kick some ***). Toyota push it a year back and lighten it so it can compete with the RX7.

The regular WRX is on the road now. I thinking Subaru will do something to keep up with the EVO.

It does not matter which one. I might buy then both.
Then get rid of the one that I don't like.

Plus I have the money from selling my MKIV. I can just pay for one out right and finance the other.

Ososlow,

The confirmed date is January 2003. Subaru has not confirmed anything about the STi. We do not know much about the EVO except it should have more than 250 hp.

The Sti we know nothing except that the UK/Euro spec STi has 260 ps and seems likely that the US spec should be similar.

EVO have been sighted in LA and Orange county being tested so they are getting closer.
