A stock Mazdaspeed3 would make a great DD, even mildly modified with an intake and a stiffer Rear Motor Mount would be fine. Still plenty of fun to be had, looks great, and is surprisingly pretty darn reliable. It's also a lot more utilitarian than the S2000, 350z, and MR2.

Not sure if you can find one for around $10k though, but it's not like they're rare (unlike the Mazdapseed 6, comparatively). Good luck in your search!

THIS. Mazda is IMO, there's no chance or towing anything with the 350, MR2, or S2k.

SCOOBY DOO is the answer. and you cant beat the sound of a boxter engine.

Dude, wrx for sure. I bought one brand new in 05 and beat the living **** out of it. I honestly feel bad for the next person to buy it. I put about 85k on it and it still ran perfectly when I sold it on stock clutch and bolt ons. Great car, I honestly think I'm going to buy another one for a dd.
