when SCLC was at the drag strip a few meets ago there was a white truck snapping off 12 second 1/4s and a tahoe running low 13's. They were both deisel and very impressive.

My dad has a Ram 2500 with a diesel. That thing snaps my neck when 2nd gear hits. 1st gear gets you off the line and is very low geared (and turbo spools up), then 2nd hits like a jet fighter.

The aftermarket for the Cummins engines is probably the closest to the "rice rocket" aftermarket that I've seen. There's tons and tons of mods out there for those engines. And, obviously, quite a few people who just go nuts with 'em

Definitely plan to have a 2500 Ram w/HO Cummins diesel as my next truck.

 

I come from a long line of envious cars... most of which i've built/ modified, the Sti and Evo's are nothing new just commuting cars
