Vw Gti Vr6

What do you guys think of a 2002 VW GTI VR6? I'm just wondering bucause I am seriously thinking of getting one. They have a lot of good features, and they go from 0-60 in like 6 seconds.

Friend of mine just bought a 02 GTI 1.8T for $19,600.

GTI's are very nice cars for the money, no doubt.

They are low to mid 6s cars...
Get a 1.8t not the VR6... 1.8t have LOT more potential than the VR6..
drop in a $300-$500 chip and you're faster than the VR6....

Though... these VW will never be as fast as the EVO in the twisties...

1.8T Sux a fat one....

Heres a dynosheet of a VR6 with ONLY a STAGE 1 turbo.

Screw the 1.8T...in my opinion its the Poor Mans GTIVR6...

My brother has a 2001 VR6 and hes driving down to EIP to get a install. 330hp with no major engine modifcations.

I owned a Golf VR6, but the old version with 174bhp.
It's not very fast if you compare it to an evo off course, even a 220bhp impreza will be much faster.
But if you want a compact car that has got a nice V6 noise, it will be better than a 1,8T.
