Most Wanted's 2011 CTSV

Well I had no initial intentions of posting this up since I'm a bit unsure of the projected path, but a few requested I do some type of thread since I sort of disappeared and there is some interest in the CTSV. So here it is....
I took some time off to get my health back. Been working out in the gym 7 days a week 5 hours a day. Lost 40# in 4 months and went from a pant size of 40 to 32 I did it the hard way and did it all natural. Just the absolute PERFECT diet and lots of hard work. I was doing awesome and got pretty big but had a huge set back as I got sick with some sort of infection recently. Today was actually my first day back in the gym I was in bed for two months hospitals, dr's, every horrible test possible, etc. Absoluetly a brutal experience. But I'm back up and running and both infections are gone. I lost alot of my size but didn't gain much weight. So between that and being a Dad I've had no time to play. So I figured it's time to do something again. I wanted another evo but the wife pushed for a different project. I decided to grab a new 2011 CTSV. It will be set up for road course and will make around 650whp and will be very capable in the 1/4 mile. Its been so hard doing anything with a 2 yo running around but I promise to try and keep this up to date with all the info as I usually do. I am super impressed with the car. Stock numbers are 0-60 3.9 seconds, 556BHP most dyno mid-high 450-480 range, run low 12's stock someone just went 11.6 with only a CAI and no tune. They respond great to mods so we'll see how well she can handle my abuse If anyone has any questions shoot them over and I'l try and answer them the best I can... I promise to take nice pics but I am just getting back on my feet so I havent had a chance to take many let alone good ones.

Mods:
Tint lol, 5% all windows except two front doors
stay tuned.... lots of cool stuff in the works like dyno, 1/4 vids, etc...

For some strange reason I prefer the c63 over the caddy but I've sure you have your reasons for the change of heart.

The last time we meet up you had drop alot of weight that was more than 6 months ago. Its take alot of dedication and discipline to do that, your son is probably talking alot now it's crazy how time flies.

I love the C63 but it doesnt perform. It just doesnt have enough tire under it. The CTSV comes stock wth 285's and most run 305's The C63 is horrible on a road course because the back end cant hang on. The CTSV stays planted very well. That was one of the first things I noticed driving it the first week. Plus there arent many mods for the C63 and the few that are out are stupid money. Headers are $3-4K, CTSV headers are $900 lol... BIG BIG difference if you want to play. And I want to play

Yeah he is talking alot now. He turns two in a couple weeks. Hard to believe.

As for weight, yeah not sure where I was at when I saw you. I started dropping alot towards the end. I was addicted to the gym. I wanted to see how good I could look off helpers I only took common supplements like Whey, L Carnitine and CLA. I was able to get off my blood pressure meds and everything. Blood pressure yesterday was 108/62 resting of 56bpm. I reached my goal but was still just shy of the looks I was after. Very close though. I'll post a pic of my friend who I train with lol... The guy is a machine. Im starting back up at the gym and will continue on the quest for perfection LOL..

Here is the guy who helps me. Definitely a motivator.

Me awhile back, sad but true lol

A little dedication goes a long way...

And the munchkin who makes it all worth it...

So thats where Ive been. Not hiding but just felt I needed to take some time off to get life back in order. Felt like things were getting out of control. My son is old enough now too so I can start taking him to events. He'll be there at the NSCRA event. He loves race cars so I cant complain.

No evo right now I almost bought one but the wife kind of fought me on it. So I grabbed the CTSV. I hate car payments too but have to make everyone happy. I was actually going to wait a bit but I got a killer deal on this car so I grabbed it. I may build an all out evo for road course at some point but I still dont really have time for it. Thats why the CTSV is kind of a nice compromise. Wife likes it, 4 doors, can beat it on weekends

Nice car... they sure are nice to drive. Used to work on some when I was employed at Cadillac. Really only trouble we had was electrical.

Good luck!

I see where you're coming seems like the ctsv is more of a drivers car. Not sure if you're fimiliar with Manny he has a badass CTSV in West Palm.
