Not unless you're able to buy it
I'm talking about the new MB C63 AMG Coupe.

I had the pleasure and it's incredible. Most fun I've ever had in a car, and it all comes from the sound of that 6.2L V8. It is a sound God would make if he was really happy about his dinner

I was lucky to have an "understanding" salesman who allowed me to drive it properly. It is definitely tail-happy but not as much as the previous C63s and very controllable when the back steps out. Massive torque all over the range, excellent transmission, steering isvery good, brakes fantastic and the interior is just a great place to be.
The inevitable comparo will be the M3. The M3 will almost certainly be faster around a tight racetrack, the C63 is going to need some big straights to balance out it's ***-happy behaviour.
Styling; I actually like the look of the Sedan better but the Coupe is no Rosie O'donell.
The version I drove had the AMG performance package which ups the HP to 481, adds a limited slip diff, TPMS, some SLS engine internals, limiter delete and some CF stuff.
So, if you drive one and have to have one...don't say I didn't warn you

An insurance client of mine has a C63 and took me out for a spin... that thing is such a beast, and it pulls effortlessly all the way to redline. He had looked at other cars (particularly the M3), but it looks like his opinion wasn't far off of a lot of people's... it's just a little bit more fun to drive. A lot of the more recent Mercedes cars (especially the AMG models) have become a lot more interesting behind the wheel, as a lot of reviews show the cars being tail-happy in a good way.
After I rode in his car, I had priced both cars on their websites, and the M3 seemed to be more expensive since there are tons of packages that you have to get.

Haha... you're way off. Even the "regular" C63 AMG is a bit north of that, realistically speaking. The yellow one is the Black Series variant, which is a bit over $100k.
Yeah the C63 AMG starts at $63k or so and will probably be about $70k?
Black edition will be north of $100k and hard to get, so probably more. The CLK63 Black was a $40k premium on the base CLK63.

Isnt a Fully loaded M3 more cheaper? i recently built one with all of the options with a 70k price tag.
The merc may have more power but it comes down to can it plant the power down with a good suspension setup and give the driver more confidence to push the car even harder

Here in Canada, a fully loaded (premium package, AMG performance pack) C63 Coupe runs $77,500. I priced one on the US MB website and there wasn't much difference. In the US they separate most of the options, here you get the 2 packages that include everything.
In my opinion, it's actually a pretty good deal considering a stock EVO MR goes for just shy of $52 k up here and the C63 is easily twice the car right off the showroom floor.
The Black is another story, from what I've heard there are only 100 coming to North America and they're all pre-sold
