I had Jeep SRT8 at my dealership I end up checking the car out. I thought Evo had bad gas mileage but damn srt8 is worst! Went out for road test on rainy day for about 2 miles round trip and did alignment and road test again 2 miles. when I got the car had fuel tank and 4-5 miles was already wasted 1/4 tank of gas. Not going to lie srt8 got the power.

umm yeh, 8mpg is alot worse than 18

poor mpg and huge tank is a killer

Yeah it was fun driving tho. The car is just nice car to cruise in town with.

i love me some srt8 seats, makes me feel like i can drive cross country compared to the evoxs

Had a new limited jeep with the hemi, electrical problems galore. I averaged 12 mpg too.

Never going back to jeep!

Now I got the New SRT8 Jeep... Awesome power, does suck the gas down pretty good. but my AVG is 13MPG Try not to drive to crazy. Other then that you really cant compare the 2. But if I had to, I'd do it like this, Tuning and aftermarket the Evo scene was light years ahead. Still waiting on actual reliable aftermarket parts. The ECO mode and Valves in Exhuast system create a bit of an obsticale for tuners. The Jeep crowd and forums.... Pretty damn lame, I miss you guys. Considering I was one of if not the 1st one in miami With the EVOx, I turned Heads and loved it, I'm the first here now in GA columbus Ft Benning and the Jeep is a real head turner as well. The X had really fun Handaling. The Jeep is pretty good as well for it's class. I grown up since the X and Had a kid so it's the Married guys logical next best toy. I love both but. If I had to Choose today, I'd role in the jeep, Just wish they'd et of their asses and get to tuning already!
