The GTs-T isn't AWD... its RWD, the GTS-4 was a non-turbo AWD..

Okay, man I got here late

Here's a lil' more info.... Oh, and I'd like to adress some comments made earlier on.

2. New skyline in 2006. The Last generation of skylines have an older engine design which feature 2 turbos on a 6 cylinder rated at 280 crank. The new skyline will feature the 350z block which puts out 280 crank all motor.
This "older" engine design is still in use today in Japan's top circuit cars so it must be a pretty good design.... Also, the 4G63 in Evo's etc is also an ANCIENT design itself... Oh, and the model he showed was a GTSt, it was a 2.5l inline 6cyl single turbo.

3. Styling of the skyline is 90's so you are paying a lot of money for an old car that few in the public understand.
As others have said, the styling is subjective. The R33's lines are timeless to me. That smooth powerful lines of the 2dr sedan are very nice looking IMO, and rare as well. I don't particularly care for that front bumper on THAT model, but in general I think R33's are very very good looking.

5. Evo has a better reputation in Japan because of the 4 rally wins. I just got back from Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong.
I've been to Japan as well, and there is NO other manufacturer there that is more respected in automotive racing than Nissan/Datsun. They've been doing it for more than 40 years now. Sure the evo has won some Rallys, but look at the JGTC, it's all about the skylines, I don't even think Evo's participate

6. The skyline is overrated because In the US we cannot get the skyline so our desire increases! In Japan they lust over our V8 engines. Japan has an entire scene that follows the US sport compact trend and they love Domestic spec and made parts!
Heh, the skyline is not "overrated" it's over built. Nissan's are very VERY tough cars and their RB series of engines are pretty much considered bulletproof. Oh, and trust me Japan doesn't "follow" our trends here from the US, we follow theirs.

Think about girls too. 99% of girls do not know what a skyline is nor do they care!
I've never bought a car because a "girl liked it" if I let a female dictate what car I purchased, I'd probably be driving a cute vw beetle or something.... Get what you like. My girl likes nice looking cars, but she likes killing those rich guys w/me in the Talon even more I guarantee it.

Oh, and I've also participated in an RB motor swap into a car here too. It wasn't an RB25 though, since this swap was completed, 2 other of my friends have swapped RB25's into their 240's as well, and my lil' brother has an SR swapped 240. Man... I'm starting to think about sellin' the ol' Talon now

and trust me, this outdated engine can still perform

just a quick thought... if you're just looking for a fast car... why not a supra twin turbo, 300zx twin turbo, rx7 or 3000GT-VR4... I mean if its not a turbo AWD skyline you're getting, maybe one of those other super cars might do...? any how fast do you really need to go... i mean you're fast, but somene else is gonna be faster...

Been there, done that.... However, I'm thinking about doing it again... I recently bought a pretty souped up RB25, and now I'm just looking for a home for it

Probably a nice 240Z

If you really want a skyline just try to get r34gtr v-spec II. That **** kicks ***! You should see the clips of a skyline accelerating from 120mph - 180. Ever play Gran turismo?? =P

I'd imagine a V-Spec II R34 would be a ****load more than an R33 GTS-t.

Ah, I just love the smooth lines of the 240Z, though... I just went out today and looked at this REALLY nice '77 280Z and lord.... I'm not sure.... It's definitely going to be an older Z, and the RB should fit riiiiiight in :P

Old school cool, with that new style twist (as provided by an RB)
