There will be 850 RS6 in the US for next MY. 450hp but it's kind of big, too big. I like the RS4/A4 size better

I guess all the short-comings of this car are due its weight, it's a friggin battleship on land If only they make a RS4 sedan/saloon light-weight version, then

Regarding the brakes, I think they can alway put the 911 turbo brakes in the RS4

the rs6 only comes with a crappy 6spd tiptronic though...the rs4 might be the faster vehicle when you add that and the weight difference in. Not like I can afford either though...a nice used S4 might work though

They don't already make a sedan? I always thought they did and all the pictures I saw just happened to be wagons...nuts to that. Love the land battleship phrase, I always use "land yacht" or "luxo-barge". How does an S4 compare to an RS4? Are we talking Rex vs. STi here type difference?

Yeah, they make only Wagon RS4 Avant

the difference b/t S4 and RS4 is similar to that b/t Rex and STi...

S4: 250hp, good components all around ~$40K
RS4: 380hp, stronger interal, rods, cyclinders, bigger turbos, and of course, re-write ECU and other goodies. Better suspensions and brakes. There is one in the US for sale now for JUST -----------$92K
