Srt-4 Smoking issue, anyone got ideas?
hey guys! i bought a srt4 for cheap cause the valves were burnt so the car wouldn't start. i had a shop shave the block put new valves and valve guide seals in and than i installed the head with a new headgasket (headstuds trq properly) along with new timing belt and other crap that doesn't really matter. anyhow
The car smokes for a min when you start it up and shoots oil out the exhaust when you rev it up high (boosting)... ive checked the turbo and literally took it off the car to look at it and it has no signs of being bad or leaking. only other thing i can think off is the shop that put my new valve guide seals in messed up. what are your thoughts?
I was gonna check the spark plugs out tomorrow and see if they have oil built up on them
