12' Optima SX

I haven't been on here for a while, but I just picked up a 12 Optima SX 2.0t. Very nice ride and great stock power. 275 hp and 269 tq.... Has the same block as the EVO X with a TD04-19t. Main differences are the premie gas tune which the Optima will adjust for automatically if premie is used and my stock boost is 17 versus the 20 on the X.

Pics to come.....

Did you honestly just say that the main difference between your KIA Optima SX and an Evo X is a self-adjusting tune and boost pressure?

As far as the engine goes yes the Theta II and 4b11t use the same block. Was only talking about the engine, not everything else.

There you go side by side, as you can see Hyundai/Kia did not change much other than the compression ratio, boost, and mated a different tranny. We already have proven reflashes that up the boost, and remove the Torque and over boost nanny that add 30hp/30tq at the wheels

Your question made me go back and re read the Car Throttle article, and look it up elswhere. It would seem it currently isn't. So its either a mis type, or maybe the new models will be??? I dk either way sorry for that miss print
