Friend of mine bought a Corolla S. He brags constantly about his SPORTS car. That is not truly a sports car right? It just has a sporty body package?

Side by side my GTS would leave it correct?

 

Corolla S has a 1.8L 132 hp engine. Your GTS has a 168hp 2.4L 4 Cyl. 0-60 times are ~ 8 seconds for the Corolla and mid 7 seconds for the Lancer. Assuming similar transmission (manual or auto) yours would be faster.

 

Lol no corolla is a sports car. Neither is gts for that matter

The original hachi roko is a corolla.

 

Its not a sports car. Its just a regular Corolla with sporty body package, fog lights, and bigger wheels and tires. The engine and suspension are supposed to be left untouched. Thats basically it. The Corolla S trim is supposed to make the car look sportier. In the end, its a "sporty" looking Corolla.

Ive driven both, and I know for a fact your Lancer GTS is way more sportier than your friends Corolla S. Theres a Corolla S in my driveway. does not feel sporty at all.

 

Race him and give us the results

 

And it's still not a sports car.
