Thinking about upgrading to the CLA 45AMG. Should I?

I have a perfect stock 2006 Exo IX MR with 81k miles and thinking about upgrading to the CLA45AMG. On paper it seems comparable with more luxuries but am worried that I may regret due to the driving experience. Would you guy do it?

No take the difference in money you would have to spend on the benz and mod your evo.

I wasn't impressed with the regular CLA when I drove it. I don't like the styling either. You would be close to an 09 GT-R for the price of that CLA. Don't do it

I would. Depends on you however. I'm getting over my evo a little bit and would love to trade up to a CLA45 AMG, unfortunately they're over $100k here so it's not happening.

If you're still enjoying your IX I wouldn't, if not then you're on to a winner.

I really like the new CLA, if I had the spare cash I might upgrade to the CLA45.
It's classy with a lot of style. Your girlfriend/wife will like it a lot more than the Evo too.

Good point and will think about the whole idea. Hard to find a good driving feel AWD 4 door car. The closest thing would be a 2014 evo. To maintain or exceed the driving feel at the 50k price point I would have to go 2014 vette or boxster but then I'd loose 2 door and awd.

The only upgrade after driving an evo, and this is purely my opinion, is a nissan GTR.

It looks goofy in my opinion, costs a lot for a 2.0T (not too far off of a C63 sedan when you add some options).

Situation in Malaysian and Singapore:
Over here in Malaysia we get A45 AMG instead and it cost RM349k(US$110k)
Came pretty loaded through with the exterior package(wing, canard)
The canard is a but wing is
Still not the worst in this region through,at least we get to keep the car beyond 10 years
Our small island neighbor Singapore need to buy COE(Think it as a permission to buy a car) before they can buy a car and they can only keep it for ~10 years before the car will be heading to scrapyard or renewing COE(Which cost a ton)
On top of that an A45 cost: 310,888.00 SGD(Not sure if price quoted include COE or not)

New Zealand, to make a better comparison it comes to around US$90K. That's normal here though, a new evo will set you back around NZ$70K here.

I would take the AMG over an Evo X. Period.

Nope.

For performance maybe, but if you are after anything else then they are just too different to compare.
