Coming from a Mustang
Coming from a Mustang
As of right now I own a 2003 Mustang GT, pretty slow but it looks and sound good so I guess that makes up for some of it. I plan on making the switch to an Evo very soon, as I am needing something more daily friendly. I am tired of if we get any snow, I'm stuck in my driveway until it's cleared up. Also, I'm looking for better gas mileage as I'll be traveling more for college later this year and the 13mpg in town and 20 or so highway is not what I want.
I know Evo's aren't known for their gas mileage but it'll be better than what I'm working with now haha. Whose all made the switch from a GT to an Evo? How'd you like it?
The main concern with me, is deciding between an X or a IX. I absolutely love the looks of the X, front lip, lowered, RPF1's and I think they're one of the best looking cars out. The 9 looks good, but not as good. Another thing, the car will be just full exhaust, intake, UICP, LICP, just basic bolt ons and a good tune for 93, I've heard of X's burning valves even with bolt ons. 4G is obviously a better engine for building which I plan on doing later on.
Another stipulation is that I cruise back roads a lot, which can turn into gravel quickly. I feel like the X would be better in these types of surfaces, or am I dreaming?
If I were to buy a 9 it'd be an MR, X would be a GSR with SSS, heated Recaros is a must for an X for a daily I think. Figured I'd ask for your guys' I'm put on my situation. Plan on buying something around May if all goes well
