Bought an Audi S3, exiting the Evo scene
Both my Golf R and my TDI was like that. It's electric assisted and you can turn down the sensitivity with a VAG-COM cable by just unchecking one and checking another. It made a huge difference as I hated the sensitivity as set from the factory. I felt like I was going to launch myself through the windshield just trying to find a parking spot.
I owned a C63 AMG when new, I had it for 2.5 years(prior to that I had a new C6 Z06). The C63s also have their issues. The rears tires truly don't last, the average owner reports having to replace the stock factory tires at 5000 miles.
Services a, B and C are stupid expensive, the oil changes are very expensive because of the amount of oil and how much the dealer charges. The dealer will charge for very expensive stiff like the cabin filter or wipers blades. Unless you are aware of what you are signing prior to your services A , B or C then the dealer will charge you these stuff because is part of the maintenance.
Also, the dealer will NOT resurface the rotors on a C63 AMG. They call it from replacement at 40000 miles which along with the brakes pads you are talking around $2300 brake job. Also, keep in mind the gas mileage is awful, around 14 mpg at best(they are rated at 12 mpg city-19 mpg hwy). Then don't forget the insurance.
Like I said , I speak from experience, I had mine, it was fun, I put headers and tune and it was quick but it also has other associated cost...

Yes, the tires last 9k miles, and the MPG is abysmal, but it's a RWD 6.2L V8. It's a great car and I love it as much as I love my Evo 9. It's the last of the great NA V8s, and owning one is not far fetched. Used 2008-09 go for mid-30s, and 2012-13 are in the low 50s.
For what it's worth, the S3 is a fun car. I just wish they'd bring the RS3 wagon here.
I've test driven the S3. It's a very nice car and it's like trading the performance on the evo X and moving that toward quality fit, finish, and luxury. The only thing I really don't like about the S3 is the brake feel. Everything else is much better than expected. I enjoyed the drive more than my TTRS I had. I actually think the electric power steering and the new clutch center disc program is an improvement over the TTRS.
I love the evo and am considering that special edition Evo X if it's not super over priced where the Focus RS, RS3 or M2 maybe a better alternative.
