Now if this true: A Mitsubishi source tells us that when it phases out the six-speed SST auto transmission in March the limited edition model will be offered with a six-speed manual., I wonder if that tranny will fit in older EVO X's?

I asked my local dealer and he said it's not coming to the U.S

As a follow up, would this tranny fit older X's assuming one could get it here as a "Mitsu part"...interested in this possibility.

Regardless, it is still coming to US...That said, at Tokyo Auto Show, AutoExpress indicated that the "Final Concept" will be a five, not a 6 spd. So much for my previous post indicating the opposite!...internet...can't live with, can't live w/o
