2015 X special Edition 473HP
Apparently Mitsubishi's last 6 months of production on the evo X will be a special edition with 473HP.

Mitsubishi has not released pricing on the new 2015 Lancer Evolution X Final Edition and have not said whether the U.S. model will get the same 473hp HKS-equipped drivetrain that they will be bringing to the Tokyo Auto Salon next month. Stay tuned. - See more at: http://www.torquenews.com/1084/mitsu....cFSRXEiK.dpuf
I'm gonna guess we won't get that...usually not

I really don't see the US getting the 473 hp Evo. I've seen speculations that we might receive a 15 hp bump, but nothing I would be willing to count on.

man thats a huge bump in power. cant believe anyone would sell that much power from a 2.0 and put a warranty on it. the car does sound awesome so long as the US version isnt watered down. it will be expensive. dealers will be asking for market adjustments on top of already expensive sticker. just seems counterproductive in getting people to love the mitsubishi brand. hearing this is happening just disgusts me as a mitsubishi enthusiast.
maybe they secretly want to test the new car AWD system on public road

Dont forget the Pikes Peak electric Mitsubishi run faster on race track then a Nissan GT-R Nismo.... Actually humiliatingly faster... And has an Evo X AWD system based AWD drine train. + the electric engine without any gas engine help.

Predicting US will not get 473HP...rather something less but who cares?...for the extra they will charge for the '15', one can put that into current and older EVO's and achieve same

That's too bad the production run is up...I really can't think of what else I would buy Mitsubishi...
473 hp is pushing it from warranty standpoint .... Though maybe 380-400 for our market ...maybe more in the euro market
