Spoiler Alert: Special Action Model will not be an FQ440 or anything close.

As some of you may know, until a few months ago I work for White Bear Mitsubishi. Because they're one of the top 5 Mitsu dealers in the country, they regularly get some inside info from the big wigs.
A friend of mine was asking me on FB if I knew anything about the Special Action Model. Well, I had gotten more information than most people about 6 months ago when I still worked there because I was looking at trading my 2012 in for one, or a 2014 with leather/roof and wanted to know if this SAM was worth waiting for.
At the time I was told "You would have to do everything you've already done to your current one again (built motor, ef3, e85)." I wasn't given any more specifics other that and that the FQ440 would have cost Mitsu an arm and a leg to get US emissions speced.
My friend Neil who still works at WB chimed in. Apparently he's now been given a little more about the specifics.

Queue disappointment
