I just can't get excited about wrong wheel drive cars that are not sold in the US.

Show me an S2000 replacement and maybe my pulse will raise.

Read that the car used had "some" weight reduction and (as you can see) was caged.

Some of that might explain the 25 seconds faster around the Ring than the stock Evo VIII when it first came out.

Its faster than a R32 and Honda S2000 and the NSX. 7:50 is very impressive time.

Its important to NOTE: that this CIVIC TYPE R is a PRe production notice the roll bar and I think the body is slightly different however has the same aero as the production.

How can we fairly judge this cars lap times.. i mean its caged and missing it looks like a lot of electronics...put a real production model out there and get the real times!

That's more of a fact when it comes to racing the twisties.

FWD cars are boring to drive. Mostly due the lack of the ability to induce oversteer with the throttle, and the inability to put down a decent amount of power..

The car is left hand drive they could bring it here if they wanted to but for some reason Japanese car manufactures are into this green hybrid thing now. Mitsubishi has gone this route, same as Honda and Toyota although Toyota still has plenty of gas hog suvs and trucks around. The only real choice we have now for a AWD fast car (non luxury) are Fords new Focus RS and the dilapidated Subaru STi. FWD cars are going away too, no MS3, just a GTI for the most part...

As you too, my friend . I am just saying this below
Look up Ciroen Saxo kit car and how they did in tarmac rally vs AWD cars....
When FWD is build right they are very dangerous competition.
only in America where people think FWD is no good...

never look them down because you might be very well humiliated by one as soon as you run into a right build with a right driver.

I dont care the car is fwd or rwd or my favorite AWD. They all can be fast if they build right and balanced.

No doubt there are fast fwd cars. But whether its revo knuckles or some other gimmick, I just think the decision to make a fwd sports car is the wrong way to go.

Concept looks so much better.

So aside from the lights, what has changed? Well, the production car loses the concept’s cool blade-like LED daytime-running lights and the headlight cluster is also a lot more conventional looking; the LED blades are replaced with old-school projector lamps.
