Ahh I see I see. That is true. To be honest the Focus RS looks quite interesting... But it's a Ford. It almost doesn't make sense. Like a mustang with a turbo 4 cylinder? That's like an oximoron.

Mirage Evo? in the US as a production car? or in any country as a production car for that matter?

 

meh... doesn't matter that its a Ford to me... I don't have any brand loyalty in either love or hate direction when it comes to cars. I judge each car by individual model.

If you go by that standard, Mitsubishi is complete crap. the only production car it ever made thats worth anything is the Evo (and the Pajero in other markets was ok). but everything else from mitsu sucks... oh, and the eclipse was cool depending on the year.

And as far as ford, they've been in rally on and off since the 70's. and the Focus RS is gonna be made in Germany. so its not exactly a mid 2000's spaceship taurus...

 

That is true...sometimes in my tunnel vision I forget that Mitsubishi makes other cars than the Evo....which all do pretty much suck. Ha!

Honestly, I am interested in the Focus RS. Never been a fan of hatches but it looks kinda cool. We shall see!!!

 

no, people building them. Usually the old mirage and the Evo drive train and engine.

 

oh yeah... I've seen those, but not really the same in my book... unless someone dumps a ridiculous amount of money into a project like that, its never gonna compare to an oem effort, even one as small as mitsubishi (at least their automotive division). and with that much money I'd rather buy something better

 

haha, I know what you mean. I used to be the same way until I saw someone makes a post on this forum that went something along the lines of this:

I'm the other way, I usually prefer the hatch version of most cars if available...
