0-130mph evo or sti?
calm down guys...honestly, love/hate/bias about cars distort our views about cars, so why bother trying to argue who's obviously heavy subby fan that evo is superior and vice versa? no matter how adamant you can be, you can't simply change a person's view/like/dislikes/etc just by arguing...
To me, i really don't give a rat's *** about car's performance between evo and sti that much (0-60, handling, whatever) since I heavily believe that it's the driver who can truly make the cars fast
Honestly, being on the topic, where the hell on the planet of earth would you go130+mph without going through any inconvenience (like going to autobahn to legally speed)? Honestly I never found it necessary to go even beyond 70mph...even on tracks, you rarely (if ever) break that 100mph barrier (unless its a drag strip)...

sti is a great car.....evo is also a great car.......i'd bet that over half of the evo owners on here considered an sti before they bought their evo, i know i did. I am happy with my choice but i am not going to downplay the perfortmance of the sti. It shines in several categories where the evo does not.........the same is true of the evo......both are great cars and stock vs stock most things come down to the driver...........i guess being able to appreciate all cars, even one that is designated as the arch rival of the car i own (evo vs. sti) is the difference between being an enthusiast and being an arrogant a s s h o l e
EDIT * To remain On topic.........I've had my evo up to 156mph and it felt rock solid, actually the faster i went, the more stable it felt. I think it's one of the most confidence-inspiring cars i've ever driven

Here are my 2 cents:
I have driven both cars in auto-x ( i dont give a **** for drag racing...thats not real racing to me). Like they have a zillion times, both are great cars, is just a matter of personal preference.
Where i am from, EVO's are killing STI's in auto x ( and they have won 3 out of 4 1/4 racing events, for those of you who like drag racing)...and i had the chance to drive both. What did i find?....i was able to do a better time in the EVO becasue i felt more comfortible driving it faster than the STI. Thats what convinced me to go with the EVO.....superior handling
The STI potential is there....it just needs a bit more time, and i am sure will see what the car (with mods) is really capable of
