Don't get mad and start the insults you worthless tool. It absolutely happened and you have obviously never owned a vette. They are very problematic.

Was an Arizona car so water doesn't really even exist there lol. Probably not the case. My cousin has an 04 and had all kinds of problems with his too. He is a mechanic so I know it was well taken care of. He still owns his though.

I would have too, if the price difference wasn't $15 grand.

Would have to agree. Everyone that I've talked to said the C5Z's are great cars. I've already put like 2,000 miles on the car. It's a blast to drive. Only thing I've done is bleed the brake fluid and put full synthetic in it.

Got my intake/powerduct in the mail and I'll be doing long tube headers/xpipe soon woo!

I'm not sure if the consensus would agree with you, but I'm sorry for your experience. In the meantime....I ****ing love mine, and it has given me 0 issues besides almost getting arrested for speeding.

No I paid $25k which is a steal. I wanted low mileage.

If there is a c6z06 with ~20k miles for less than $38k-ish I would be quite amazed. Everything I found was $39k and up.

But the primary reason is that I've wanted a c5z since I was younger. I feel like it exemplifies 'corvette' more than any modern year of production. Plus, put ~10k into this car (the difference between this and a high mileage c6z) and you're well over 550-600whp.

argh. Well, in the overall perspective...I DO have to still get a winter car

So instead of spending that extra $$ on mods or upgrading to a C6Z.....

I guess I have to buy a Civic.
