If I tried to make it have minimal gap, the car would be like sitting on the ground, lol.
I'm fairly certain C5 vette's have a little height adjustment built in from the factory... something about where the suspension pick up points are I think, hit up the vette forums to figure it out

it's torquey enough to not be an issue, yeah?
oh its torquey as hell. But I don't want to go 1-4 wahhhh!

I really like this car. I like it more the more I drive it. I can't even imagine how fun it will be with an extra ~40ish whp on tap.

Vettes have lowering bolts already. Depending on how low you want to lower the vehicle, you'll have to use a string saw to cut the bushing if you bottom it out but want it lower.

The skip shift feature is easy to eliminate. There are a few different kinds. I use a modified fuse with a resistor and just swapped the transmission fuse with the modded fuse and voila. Skip shift eliminated.

Vette not my thing, I'd have to go full project mode if I wanted to get one. Plus having both is kind of overkill lol

I've owned an 03 vette. Sold it in 6 month. It's was only 3 years old at the time and was in the shop 4 times for different problems. 4th time going in it stayed there. It was fast, fun, and the most unreliable car I've owned. I hope the c7 is better. Good luck!

It's not that high strung. 650hp out of a 6.2L v8. The 13-14 gt500 did that out of 5.8L, and had no issues. I think the failures are a QC issue...

The Z06 is ideal IMO. Wish I could have both, but wow, the Vette rides so damn smooth. A few bolt ons and I'll be at 400WHP. Think I might Vortech supercharge it next summer, we'll see.

Think it depends on the quality of car you buy. I bought mine 1-owner with under 10k miles & stock. I've only read great reviews on these cars.

Yeah... like the LS6 I LOVE this car so far. Now I see why older guys buy this thing. It rides like a Cadillac and it's fast as hell. BUT I did just get a MAP o2 eliminator DP and buschur crossflow exhaust on my GF's X....that thing still does sound mean!!

Mine was 1 owner 17k miles. Great condition but stupid things that are just annoying issues kept happening. Like a window regulator going out....bad alternator, starter died, etc. Like I said it was fun but good luck!!
