So... you just have Exhaust and Intake and you can take GTi's no problem??? How about my boyfriends. I told him about this tread and hes more then willing to give you a run you wont soon forget from 20-110 mph. Stops are out of the question due to his lack of anything close to what can support his hp/torque (205/50/15s blow)

He lives in College Station but he will be coming up fairly soon to Dallas to come see me, but a week afterwards I should be coming to College Station and we can all meet up in Houston where EOS meets and have a friendly lil race.

Question is... do you want to know what he has... or do you feel secure that you can beat any GTi

i'm still boggled about his car that has 1k in it, and can "own" so much **** on the road... from a 15.3 second quarter mile, add a grand and suddenly he's cut like 1.5-2 seconds off his time?

he's only added a grand and he used to race with nitrous? ......???

i assume you don't include the nitrous in his 1k of mods to his car, as he no longer races with it?

 

no no hold on. My S4 with the APR chip and exhaust is running qtm in low 13 and in top speed over 100 not even my evo or my friend sti can even come close. Don’t underestimate VW because they own Audi and they have the same engines all over their cars

My g/f has a '02 GTI with a chip and catback ($800 total) Yes, they are fast. They will always get a jump on you from a roll b/c they spool up instantly. From there, I start to slowly walk her. For $19,000 its a very cool car. Heated seats/mirrors and an interior with a feeling of quality that makes my evo look like a cheap japanese econo-car.

I heard the new GTI's were going to be 2.0 liters, but i didn't know they were loosing 4 valves. Is that true?

 

the newer s4 quattros run looow 14's in the 1/4 mile so i'm fairly certain if you drive it right, the car can hit high 13s stock... his numbers are believable. however, my confusion lies with the 1.8t gti.... with similar upgrades as the s4, and about 1k in mods total, are those numbers realistic? i'm just trying to understand how they're attainable.

and slt, if you launch your evo, with the awd traction and the hp/tq numbers, the gti gets the jump??? there's about a 300 pound difference, but i'm still really surprised the evo loses the jump.

 

first Sor you come with yr accord and your EVO thinking that you can beat all cars and you don’t know jack. when you work on cars like me and if your father raced in F1 cars in Italy and if you have driven an F1 car like I did come and talk to me alright other than stay behind your accord steering wheel in NJ. Hueman I was surprised myself but what makes the GTI and the S3 Audi jump so quick is their small turbo that gives you full boost at 2000 rpm so u have realy quick boost. with my brother GTI it boost up to 17 psi and i have seen it spike many time in the cold @ 19 or so around 3000 rpm so u have a lot of power here. the new GTI will have 2.0T 16 v engine that i heard has much much more power and parts than the 1.8T ( that’s what my friend in Germany in Saarabroken told me last week). He told me that every one is talking about it there. Now about the S4TT which i have and that i love is 2.7 twin turbo that boost safely up to 27 psi no problems not on stock turbos though. the older S4 are faster than new once but they are not as nice. Its really hard to find an old S4 for sale because no one wants to sell them, even if you do they will be very expensive.

I couldn't care less what your father drove and what you work on. Some numbers you're stating here are fake and inflated. I'm also a member of vwvortex.com and have read a lot of their posts really respect most of their members rides and some of them are really really fast (and here in NJ) but not with only the APR chip and exhaust. Those run low 15s on the hot day and mid to high 14s on the colder days. So you can't tell me that's fast because it's not. And for your information, my Accord runs low to mid 14s. Best time slip I've seen on the 6speed was 14.3 bone stock (which BTW is faster than your GTI with upgrades).
And FYI - I grew up in Croatia where I lived more years than you're probably old (which BTW is right next to Italy) and over there I didn't drive an F1 but regular street cars way way faster than I ever will in US because of the laws and regulations.

accord coupe 6speed is that fast???? i have the seden and i hate driving that thing...feel like a cow...all slow and big...hehehe..but is the automatic...is just for me to drive when i don't feel like driving the evo

 

you know what you just proved for me that you dont know jack about cars so good luck .

by the way chip+ intake+ samco hoses+ intercooler+ downpipe+ exhaust will make you GTI brkae 13 sec so as i said dont know jack stick with yr cute accord
