The new GTI. always loved them always have.
Look, this is taking to long to explain. First I know they are more than 1K they are around $3000 or less. And yes the GTI is still slower than the EVO I did not say its faster. I said it pulls on the EVO on first gear till about 40 mph then the EVO passes it then we keep going to 120 130 mph and there is about 2 to 3 cars differences that’s all. when i am driving an EVO and I see a GTI about 2 to 3 cars behind me at 120 mph i would say this is a fast car( respectful as well) now if you would spend $3500 to $4000 and get the APR turbo kit or ATP turbo kit which is for around $2500 the GTI will beat the EVO. This is Jess's boyfriend. I work at a Pool store during the day, and a High performance VW shop at night. I will state now that if you want to run me for 500 dollars, please have cash ready because I am just hoping your head doesnt exceed your wallet.
As for mods.... those are pretty much hush if money is involved and this guy thinks he can beat all GTi's cause they are all "15 second cars"
I will tell you this... 3 inch pipe comes out the back (no tip)... has on more then 1 time seen 27 psi of boost.... all forged internals... hub caps... and more nitrous then most hondas make. I will also say that when me and Jess ran the cars she stated, I didn't need to spray, and it was all done on the highway. My car is basically a excat copy of Billy T's setup... minus all the ghetto riggin.
Oh... and I only run from a roll... Keeping the slepper look is hard so I am limited to 205 tires with hubcaps
Hard to put power down at all and Jess has seen the car spin at 70mph. Thats nothing compared to other cars around Houston, so please don't think I have a big head, cause I know i am not super fast.
I am defenetly not here to start **** with anybody, and I will be the first to say my car is not fast... Its peppy. But I am totally sure i can easily take a evo with just intake and exhaust.I am not coming on to anybody forum saying I am faster then anybody, so call outs other then mister $500 dollars will not be heard.
If it makes any difference, also drive a 1990 GSX. I would say if you felt real frisky, I would offer the chance for anybody to race it. But alais, the transfer case blew while me and Jess were heading to autocross, and I got tired of DSMs and sold it. 6 bolt, t3/to4e 57trim, and other fun stuff made the car a beast but it was a constant pain in the ***.
Lastly, I will admit, I got a good deal on my parts for my car, but they did only cost me 1k, but if anybody else bought them, there would be about +4k invested in the car. I can tell most of you stock evos, you watch out for just chipped and downpiped GTi's.... cause you will learn easily that a GTi will run ya down from a roll.

man trust me when i was driving my brother's GTI racing with my friend's STI his mouth droped win the STI was behind me. he was like ohh oh i lanched it wrong or the road is not even oh its to dark for me haaa. will guess what we race all night and from a stop to 40 miles i was 2 cars a head. then he is 2 to 3 cars a head to almost 120 to 130.

whatever man. how about i lanched his STI and my brother drove his GTI and still almost same results. Trust me when i lanch a car its over. I was born for this. Soon in Austria you will see me on a track car
anyways I love the GTI but we are just having fun here on these forums. dunno man since i was 12 I was behind the wheel in Italy. Loved therr cars loved their streets
