This guys videos have gotten a good bit of buzz and I'm sure he has a substantial following on Youtube. Just like any Youtuber, he has an audience and they happen to care about what he drives and why he drives it.

I think it was a smart choice. If you can't afford something and it won't fit within the target goals of your budget, then you should get something else that does.

The Evo is expensive and anytime anyone asks me about getting one I explain they probably should heavily think about it and see if it fits their finances. My Evo costs me a heft bit of change but the car is worth that much to me that the cost was irrelevant.

I agree though, if I bought the car and couldn't mod it how I wanted I might've seriously considered something else. I still wish I had a 6th gear some days.
