Received an email from Mitsubishi Motor today. It seems to be like just another advertising except the last sentence after an introduction to the EVO. It said

"Stay tuned. There's a surprise just around the corner."

Is that some kind of hint? But again, I may just made a fool out of myself. See the actual image of the email below:

 

The email seems pretty old, maybe it was intro to the Final Editions?

There's no way that hints of a XI, there would have been something pointing towards that long ago.

 

I received this email today and pretty sure I'm not the only one. I was thinking the same maybe it hinted the coming of the FE which is also mentioned in the email.

 

Maybe we should petition Nissan to bring back the Evo. Though its unlikely the G4 chassis is up to the task http://www.mitsubishicars.com/mirage-g4/gallery

It would be pretty cool if they Nissan made an S16 with 4b11 power plant, but theres already one of those kinda with the Genesis, even though its not a real Mitsu 4b11.

I just don't see it happening though.

Says 2015 at the bottom....must be an older email.

 

Because 2015 is the last Evo model year. It's a coincident that I received this email just a week after I went to MOD 2016 on July 9th. I recalled that I filled out some survey form and may had put my email there. Well! Maybe it's just a hoax despite keeping my hope up.

 

I just got this today. Weird...

 

Mine says 2016 on the bottom.

 

stay tuned, we've overstated the gas mileage on the evos also. 17combined mpg is about all you should expect and thats only if you pussyfoot it, yours truly, mitsubishi
