Seems like it might be cool, but there only putting it on the V6 which is lame.. Guess time will tell.

From what I read the V6 is only the first model. There is news that the "Hell Cat" my be AWD next. Can you imagine that

the losing 500lb sounds nice... sounds like they'll finally bring it down to regular car size... not their currect sports car the size of a medium to large SUV...

They are putting in alot of R&D to get the SRT 8 AWD system working in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Track hawk to handle the hellcat engines output.

The intended weight loss is great news. Hopefully it ends up as 500 lbs off and with the AWD might be a possible option for enthusiasts.

An AWD musclecar is going to be able to launch so Hell-Catapult?

The noted reason for this AWD system is due to the lack of rear grip reported
