I finally stepped up my truck game, picked up a 2006 Sierra 2500HD crew cab, with the LBZ Duramax. I've never heard of them but it is a Fox edition truck, they come with a 6" RCD lift and 8 Fox shocks, 3 on each front and 2 on the rear axle. They also come with Amp power steps, a silver and blue Fox cluster, stitched headrests, and Fox badges and decals. I love it so far, it's definitely no slouch. Looks like I have a new tow rig for the Evo.

The way your post is worded, sound like your say "Fox Edition" is a factory option...? Cause that's definitely not oem...

How's the ride quality?

When I say Fox Edition, I mean its kinda like Shelby and Mustangs. And It sounds weird saying Fox Duramax ha. The company in California that used to roll them out would do all the work, send them to a dealer, and sell them for $58k. And honestly for a lifted truck I expected worse, but its pretty smooth. Then again the Evo is pretty stiff so maybe Im just used to that. Potholes suck but I try to swerve them no matter what Im in.

And thanks, its not exactly my style either, but Im working on making it mine. For instance, the pavement princess tires have to go, Im getting 37" mud tires for it after Christmas. Its surprisingly quick though, probably not much behind the Evo.

Its mostly the wheel/tire combo I don't like. Some 37x13.50r18's on an 18x9 wheel would look awesome, if they'll fit. Chevy's have small wheel wells though.
