Its a good thing he's a VW mechanic
He's thrilled to get this car and I'm happy for him but more happy for myself, especially after viewing this. My Evo 8 is a year older, nearly the same miles and there is nothing wrong with it. Not a split, rotted out or broken anything. It must be the racing heritage.

Before i bought my evo i looked at the R32 as a cheap go fast hatch but the more i looked at them and the reviews and handling issues due to the extra weight in the nose i am glad i settled with the evo

Yeah, but he's a youtuber and now he has content for several years of video or until VW quits making parts. BTW, we are at the end of the the Evo 8 OEM parts supply. I threw about 6 grand of OEM parts into my car last year. I figured now or never.
