Heh...I bought one of these as a daily. Fun *** car.

I also dig how it's engine has a weee tiny bit in common with the 4B11T.

Still looking for my Evo!

Dumped the Camaro 1SS 1LE for one of these. Really had to shop around a lot of dealers to get what I wanted to not lose my **** trading in a 3 month old car.
My N PP is paid for, so I love having a new car with no note! Writeup to come.

It was perfect in a bubble, if that bubble was a racetrack. In the real world, I was getting 17mpg, the sight lines out of it were dreadful, my kids didn't fit well in the back seat, and it was a whale that was difficult to park and maneuver throughout the city. It's limits were ridiculously higher than mine, and it just wasn't good for a daily driver at all.

I've been in sport compacts almost exclusively for the past 23 years, and it just didn't fit my lifestyle.

I paid it off.
My daughter is 14, and once she has about a year of driving under her belt collision free, this car will go to her.

That’s plenty of time to find out what’s next. I wouldn’t mind an Evo V or VI, actually.

It's really good for what it is.
I hate this qualifier. Something is either good or its not to me. What do you really think of the car vs its competition? (probably a GTI/Golf R, Civic SI/Type R, etc)

I don’t hate that qualifier at all. It is completely apt having just moved from that SS 1LE. It’s a quick sport compact.

I made another thread a few days ago in this same forum if you want more info.

I like the N the best of those cars, especially considering value. The GTI/Golf R are nicer inside and can carry more cargo for sure. The Type R is faster on track, but encounters limp mode often. The GTI/Golf R/Si are slower on track for sure.
