I kept the gst standard, as 210bhp is more than enough for a fwd car to keep it drivable.
If I had a gsx, I'd definatly consider some engine/turbo work as the car has the traction to handle more power, and make up for the extra drivetrain weight over a gst

someone's trying to sell a '99 gs-t in my town for 18,000.
automatic. granted there's upper 20k miles only, but still
5grand for the car is a great price, and 88k isn't excessivly high for a 6 year car... if you got the car checked out and they said it was good to go, then 5k is a very good price

Did you have a mechanic to check the condition as well? That price sound too good

Anyway, good luck with your new toy

AWD is the way to go..

go to the DSM boards.. look how many GST (FWD) people wish they had AWD.. and look how many GSX (AWD) people wish they had FWD..

im a good example.. i went from GS-T to GSX.. AWD is much more fun. in every aspect..

if the setup i have now was in my old GS-T id just be spinning for days..

Yes that's correct, EVO's I, II, and III have interchangeable motors (especially easy if you own a 1st gen), and yes, AWD is the ONLY way to go if you're getting a DSM.

I will agree the AWD is the way to go. I have also had both. I now own a 97 GSX mildly mod'd

I have pulled a 12.6 on 18 PSI and pump gas. he car has potentila for mid to high 11's on race. It is unfortunatly down right now awaiting a 6 bolt transplant. DAMN DSM shootout.

So I will be abe to run the much awaited 15 PSI on race gas to see what she will do.
