I am intrigued by this. Not just for type R Hondaaaa's too. I can think of a zillion FWD cars this can apply to.

120$USD per horse? Cool system and neat way to get AWD out of whatever but I dunno about that price at this time.
It would be cheapest way to get back wheels working but helluva hit on the bank all at once.
Now when/if price comes down and power goes up(1st gen, I'm guessing things will get better) then you really got a hot product. This right now is in a weird spot, you want performance and can afford this? Get an Mcar and be done. Want performance but can't afford the Mcar? This is pretty steep too...

Well if you look at this from strictly a performance or ($ per hp) point of view it may not be interesting. If you look at it as transforming a car into having AWD capability it is very cost effective. Especially when you consider how much it would cost to conventionally do this with added drivetrain components (rear diff and transfer case, driveline, ect.) Here you have a vehicle that can be used on short town runs in purely EV mode as well. There aren't many "power adders" that boost gas mileage either. Like mentioned there are other features it provides as well. Braking assist with re-gen and torque vectoring.

Hybrid tech is still in the early stages. I think currently hybrid tech fits better then pure EV tech since infrastructure is way behind in providing for these vehicles. Best part is CARB can suck it. This is a no emission add on.

Note : I would have loved to try this on my Fiesta ST.
