Getting Help with Coding

So I've been working on a passion project for a while, a track-related webapp/website and we recently lost our coder. I've been scratching my head on what kind of options we have moving forward. While there are eventual income possibilities it's pretty far in the distance and again it's more of a passion project anyway - does anyone have any ideas on how to bring someone onto the team without having to pay someone external on it?

Pro web coders are not monkeys and will not be paid in peanuts. You could try to tap into your local schools or tech/community colleges to see if anyone wants to take it on as a "training" project..

If you make your project open source, you are more likely to find coders willing to work for free.
