I kinda want to get a second car to drive back and forth to work so I can save my RA from daily commute hell. I don't want to spend too much, like under $8000. But I'm looking for something reliable, like Honda/old Acura. Anybody have suggestions?

 

Save your money and just drive the RA. It's not a Porsche.

If you really want a second car, you already know what to get. A used Honda or Toyota.

 

a used toyota, honda, acura will serve u nice for the next 10years...corolla will be the best choice cause civics, integras will sometime get f*ck wit...their parts are easy to sell so they might cause u some troubles wit the car jackers~!

 

I agree with ru4real. Unless you are goin to mod you RA to the point of unreliability, dump the cash in that. If you really think you need a daily beater. My vote is for a 88-91 CRX HF, I had a 89 and I sold it with 186000+ Miles on it to a guy that ghetto fabbed a turbo kit and boosted it for another 2000 miles before it let go. They can take a brutal beating.
