Question A Strange Mod...

I was driving my FORD probe today...and I got to thinking...I really hate the way she turns and takes bumps...So I got to thinking....What if I could custom modifiy my suspension on the probe to that of an evo's? I mean...couldnt be too hard...Different springs and axles right? Maybe a strut bar here and there... Please...

Can it be done?

Eh...coilovers would be a good start. Have you done any basic suspension mods yet?

Turn corner (fast sweepers?) at 50 mph . . . lowering the car won't do it. You need better gripping tires. Grabbing Nitto or Toyo won't fly either . . . those are for straight line passes and laying some burnt rubber on the track,

Tires, Springs, Shocks, Struts, Strut Bar, Swa bar that would help out with suspension

However, I don't think you can just throw every mods together and expect a really great handling car.

For example, which area you want to improve? Is you car oversteer/understeer/having excessive body roll....on and on...what's the problem? On top of that, what's your driving style? Some prefer the car to hug tight to the corner, some want the rear to be a bit loose so they might be able to drift...

AFTER you know what's the problem and what your goal is, then you know what to improve. Don't just put all parts at once, do one project at a time and experiment... If your car understeers (for most FWD cars), I would suggest you to do the rear sway bar mod first...
