about R32 in my opinion:

Nice interior, sweet to drive if you live in the city, worried about electrical issues and
modifications not enought parts maybe not YET? ...

Evo:

Handling is better, more parts - 4 door, interior is ****ty meybe. but thats
how they wanted to look like (kindda old style) Clutch problems, EVIL dealers hate
to fix our cars...meybe because mitsu is going down the drain...

evo cost less. (IF R32 would be on the market as evo just got here in US. it would
be really hard for me to choose which one VW or EVO. ahhhhhhhhh)

Look I have an EVO and I have driven an R32 for the whole past week. I can tell you that its not faster but that thing had built *** quality. I love it when I was on high RPM its like my X S2000 with much more powerfull lowend trq. I love when you are switching between gears on high rpm. smoth like butter and the whole car bugs to the front. bottom line I LOVE it and if I had more money I would of bought one right now. Its your choice but ask yourself one question have I traded my EVO with R32 NO. I am sure VW will houner there warranty no as MITSU will through us out the door. I am sure you can drive it every day. I am sure EVO will spank R32 ***. Anyways they make Super charger kit for them now by vortech.

 

Evo 8 weighs in at: 3,263 lbs
VW R32 weighs in at: 3,409 lbs

Evo 8 has more HP's and torque than the R32 factory.The R32 is a small fat goat compared to the EVO and doesn't share the performance level the EVO is in. I aggree that the german cars are ALOT more refined than Jappy cars. It all depends are personal preference I guess..but I would take a EVO anyday.
