Stock to Stock the Z06 would own the evo hardcore but 5 grand into the Evo (still almost 20 grand less than the Z06) and the Evo would deffinately pull ahead Especially in the 60' and 1/8th Z06 has a much better top end and not many Evos would be able to keep up after the 1/4 or 1/2 mile even highly moded Evo's.
cool, that's my Evo in the video. The Z06 had heads, cam, LT, lid, exhaust and 100 shot. He said he dynoed at 417whp without NOS. His car definately wasn't running right in that video because I'm pretty sure he would have beat me from a 35mph roll. He wasn't spraying during that race either. It sucks that he blew up his motor though because he only had 5000 miles on the motor.
My car dynoed at 311whp and 306wtq on a dynojet. Here's my mod list:

HKS Carbon Ti Exhaust
K&N Drop-in filter
Greddy ProfecB SpecII set @ 21psi

pretty cool video... i hadn't seen this until now. Z06 is a very fast car and very nice too, but I will take my Evo over one any day just because of the price and it's much more useable than a 2 door car.

^ well put. BTW please don't get cocky about your Z06. Its an amazing car, but the day you say NO evo will ever touch you is the day Al from dynoflash or evodave show up and ruin your weekend. And guys, please don't make race challenges on here, the less testosterone the better.
