While it's a fantastic track, it's not all that good for comparing cars. For one, it's long (22Km in current trim) and has a lot of corners - nearly impossible to quickly memorize the optimum line like you can on a typical 3-4km long 10-15 turn course. For two, several portions are actually public roads, meaning you may have any manner of slow vehicles in your way. And three, the weather conditions can vary across the track, much less across a day, meaning unless the two cars are driven by the same driver on the same day, the numbers pretty much mean squat, except for internet pissing matches such as this one.

 

Best Motoring did a test with JDM EVO8 MR (GSR) on the ring. The driver wasn't Gan-San but he lapped at 8:11 mins on a very cold day. I could see the car drifting around the track.

Its a NA package, i rember reading it. BAscially as fast as a stock Z06

 

just race the guy- you want to- and you know he is full of it he probably can't drive. i mean serious race him now, then lose some money, keep plugging and when you got what you need to beat him take him agian. he will want the stakes higher cause he thinks he will beat you.
