VERY TRUE GUYS. My bro is my main mechaninc, he took a look at the honda last sunday. fine toothed comb and a half pack smokes later, he said buy this car. The exterior is emaculate, i couldn't get MTV to pimp my ride it looks that good. Mileage is high 115,000. Thats pretty high, the tranny is excellent, and the engine makes no noises. The a/c rattles, which means, the clutch case is a little loose. A/C robs 1000 rpms anyway so screw running it. In anycase, the car runs great no problems.

So i wanted to find out about hookin it up a little. YES Apexi is the shiznit. I was lookin at cheap though, being that this car migt only make it another 100,000.

Personally I'd make it a humor car. Put some spinner hubcaps and weld a folgers can on the tailpipe. After that get a front and rear bumper and leave it unpainted. Then get a vinyl that says "BAD ***" on the side with like orange flames or something. OH and NEONS lots and lots of neons.

...or run it into stuff. I'm still only 18 so i love doing that kinda stuff, yeah im working on that whole puberty thing.

four door or two? in that honda with ls vtech intake exhaust would be sweet. it would pull really good. i have an old crx si with an H22 in it.....omg what fun

VTEC is variable timing and lift control. VTECH makes phones.

So what do you want to know?. I woudnt turbo it. Honda's dont take well to turbos unless you build it. They are ment to be NA. Depending on how much money you want to spend get a B18C5 and get some quad throttle bodies and make it a NA car. Or if that is too much money get the B18C1 if that is too much money get the B16 if that is too much money get the DOHC ZC. If that is too much money dont do a damn thing to it.

dude that was crazy! damn chiris!!! yo man, just tryin to make the honda LOOK LIKE a nice car. thats all. No need to make it go fast. Would like an exhaust and a CAI and MAYBE a kit. thats all. Not tryin to blow the shoes off a kid at the track. Just don't wanna feel like i am ridin in a stock car, you know the feeling. A VTECH would be real nice. lookin to pay $50. the car was only $350 anyway.

what about paint? will Maaco do a good job?

Im sorry didnt understand what your were looking for i was just trying to throw some ideas ok. I have this problem with going fast so that is always the first thing i shoot for. I guess i have a problem thinking other peoples needs are the same.

it's ok chris. i would really like my lancer to go faster! The honda well that is just a kick me while i am down car. I don't like hondas, really they suck. but yeah you had the right idea my friend. have any other ideass i would love to hear them, no matter what they are.
