Being an owner of a Mazdaspeed Protege (MSP) I will say that the car is an amazing handler. I expect nothing less from the MS6. I suspect that the handling prowess will be amazing.

Mazda does a great job of building very well balanced cars.

Note: A ballanced car to me is a car that has the perfect amount of power to complement the suspension.

There is nothing worse then a car that you can go into a corner really fast but can't get out of the corner fast or vice-versa!

How does the TMIC get its airflow?
There doesnt seem to be much for the air to cool down the turbo...

I don't know if this is the reason, but FMIC are illegal in some countries - Like Canada.. largely cited as the reason why the Evo isn't sold here because the FMIC invalidates bumper and insurance rules and regs.

I read earlier this week - only 254hp.

0-62mph in like 6.8 seconds.

From 220 - 254 is only a 34hp increase when adding a turbo to the current Mazda 6. Crappy. Scratch it off my list.

I agree, although they are turboing the 2.3 4cyl, the additonal weight of AWD can't be offset by just 34hps, a V6 Mazda is 3300lbs, and a base 4cyl is 3100lbs, expect the AWD version to be 3400ish lbs, it wouldn't be slow, but not really on the same level as the Evo/STi.
