When he was around and active I remember his stuff was awesome (ROBISPEC) What was tuned? Or are you referring to his preference for spring rates?
Also, about how many miles/years on them.

Front left had a blown seal, siezed on the way home from the event and snapped when turning the wheel.

How long ago were they rebuilt?

I noticed the seller never answered any questions regarding age or time when rebuilt. No bueno. But I've also rolled dice and ignored red flags before.
