Description:
Hi All,
Really hoping to find an AMS F1-I intake manifold, either stock or 5.0 throttle body flange is fine.
Fingers crossed!
Also, where were you able to find yours? Want to sell it? Jk (but not really), ha!
I never lost mine. I just bought it. Not selling it right now. I'm trying a couple of different ones to see which I like best. Have a Curt Brown ported stock on the car now, a new Skunk2 and this AMS. I was considering the JMF Billet one also.

Very cool.
What criteria are you looking for the manifold you'd like to keep? I was also looking at the Skunk2, Magnus, Hypertune, and Plazmaman. I'm not 100% sure why, but the AMS is the one I want. Ha!
Where did you buy yours from? And if you end up considering selling yours by December/January, please let me know

So, for me personally, even though I tune mostly drag and street cars (roll racing), I prefer AutoX and road racing. Logically you'd think the larger plenum would be bad for spool at AutoX, but be good for top end on straights at the track. So going off what we read in forums you'd think with my racing disciplines would benefit from the Curt Brown stock mani or the Skunk2. BUT I've been in thousands of Evos and can't really feel or see the difference in spool times that are significant enough to not at least try real world racing testing on the track.
I get most of my used parts from customers. A customer bought a skunk2 from me and sold me his AMS mani.
I'll be starting off with the CB ported stock mani and then work my way up to the AMS. I'll be sure to datalog pulls and track events.
If you can't find an AMS, then get a Magnus mani. IIRC there was some discussions on the similarities between them.
