Good luck finding a nicer, unmodified Evo VIII MR. I won't say it’s the cleanest in the US … but if there's a cleaner one, the owner must be a nutcase.
Bought new 16 years ago. One-owner/adult-owned (I'm 50) with 73k miles. An ex-auto detailer, it has been my everyday car. Interior is nearly perfect and smells bizarrely new. Engine compartment is exceptional, wheelwells/underside are spic-and-span. Brake calipers have *NOT* been refinished, that's just how I've kept them. Exterior trim is *BLACK*. I removed the wing upon purchase. It's included, as are extra wheels and all OEM/dealer docs/records (see pics).
The car is a daily driver. Though *PERFECTLY* smooth, the paint has a few flaws as pictured, nicks on leading edge of the hood, scrubs under air dam, etc.
However, as a driver you can know it is used regularly and is fresh/reliable. Dealer-only maintained, everything replaced as needed (see below). *NO MODS* ... bone-stock, except new stainless exhaust/cat, new rotors/pads, recent clutch/lightweight flywheel and SS brake lines.
There is no better-running Evo out there, everything is tight. Come drive it, you won't be disappointed ... it's a blast.

I had the rear strut brace pictured in the trunk installed by the dealer in the beginning. It's a factory OEM accessory part, as is the front one. It was about $1k to upgrade and install both.
One of the nice things about having all the docs is that I was able to find the original receipt for it. Please see pic if you're curious ...

That includes the first one I ever saw in person, a silver one in 2004 at Algar (Ferrari dealer for the rest of you). I was on my house hunting trip and it was parked in the lot. My wife and I stopped in. The only person visible was the salesman, so I asked if it was his.
He said ... "Nope, it's the owner's."
I'm sure you have a keen eye, but stealth is (was) on my side in dark gray with no wing ... which of course is why I bought it that way.

Will you sell me your spare wheels? I have (had) a PERFECT set of Evo 8 MR wheels and unfortunately curbed one this weekend. My OCD has me searching high and low, near and far for a replacement. I'm willing to pay top dollar for a perfect set which these appear to be.
PM me if you're willing to work something out.

This is a really clean and well documented example. If i was in the market and had the cash, i would not hesitate to buy this.
