Sold me a used intake manifold that was completely worthless. No where during any part of our exchange was I made aware of the hole in the plenum, rendering the part useless.

yea dude thats beat on the intake , and paypal sucks on private purchases outside of ebay...

theres a few ways to get your cash back either way though...
1. dont escalate it to a claim , paypal will close the dispute and you wont be able to reopen it the second you opt for a claim , the only way they will cover it is if you didnt receive it...

2. hopefully you funded it via a credit card/bank if you did call the credit card company/bank and ask for a chargeback , it takes a while but you'll get your cash back either way

yea paypal doesnt tell you that you can file a dispute but once you hit claim it closes , thats only with stuff that wasnt as described or damaged, if you just dont get the item it lets you go to dispute and claim , if the cash is still in there they'll put a hold on it in there account...

the best thing to do is pay for anything through a credit card via paypal , that way the cc compnay will back it up no matter what ...

Sorry about the intake man but your going to eat that one since you recieved the product. I hope he does the right thing and refunds your money talk to a mod and show him pics.

 

I had no idea about the posts, but now that you mention it I should have looked.

I got excited at finishing my build-up for the Evo so I went for it on faith without having asked for pictures or even bothering to ask him if there was a big ****ing hole in the plenum.

I didn't show a mod the pics, but they already locked all of the scammer's threads.

Yeah dont mention names? It is cool. Its me he is talking about and I am posting in here for another reason, I have been scammed by turbolancero2. This guy has no patience.

I HAVE REFUNDED HIS MONEY AND LOST MY $50 INTAKE TO THIS GUY.

He pays me on friday, I ship out his intake, saturday comes, he files a claim? WHY!? What for? Seems shady to me.

Here is how the story goes.

This guy says he will buy my intake for $45 shipped. Then he tells me send it UPS cause USPS losses his packages. OK? Cool. $45 shipped through UPS. He lives on the other side of the country and it ends up costing more then I expected. So I am making $30 on this deal.

OK? Whatever, I am a man of my word and try to be, I have to sell it for what I agreed for.

So I send out the Intake, same day as payment! Wow, that hardly ever happens. I go out at night, I forget to give him his tracking number. Bummer, I thought he would have been a little more patient seeing how I have dealth with quite a few people and they are patient all the time.

So I go to school next day, go to a movie, a bar and end up sleeping the night at a friends. While I am out, he sent me 20 PMs on my phone saying all sorts of garbage accusing me of this and that. YEAH right!!! $ 45!!!! Wohooo i'm rich!!!!

Today is sunday, I am still not home and I just refunded his money because I cant take his harrassment. I am not a scammer, I understand where he coming from BUT IF HE WANTS TO CONTINUE TO BUY ONLINE! HE NEEDS TO BE PATIENT! Its part of the reason why things are so cheap here. They are sold privately, People do have lives of there own. END RANT!

1. WHAT IS THE TRACKING NUMBER??

2. Who in the right mind would say cool XXX shipped then it turns out to be more for his location and you just accept the loss?? I have sold bought tons of stuff on here and if shipping is more i ask for the difference or i list it for sale again.

3. You can simply block him on your phone and pms if you felt its harrassment. Also notify a mod

4. if he was that impatent being the weekend you should have stated ship on monday.

 

I resent the payment to him, Like I said just send me the tracking number later on and I'll send you the other $15 for shipping once I get it, its not a big deal I can kinda see his side as well, If I get a tracking number tonight or 2morrow since he says its on its way to me I'll be the 1st to apologize , if not then we'll know the deal ..

I dont know what the point was of posting that, really didnt make sense to me.

Im not gonna block someone from pms or phone if I felt its harrassment, that would make me look even more shady. I refunded his money, I am going to school tomorrow and after I told him I would send him that tracking number he wanted BECAUSE I DONT HAVE IT ON ME. If I did, you think I would be sitting in this situation as I am already.

Common sense man, anyways, it has already been resolved. This was just taken to extreme measures.

 

scammers make everybody sick. does not matter the situation but if he got his money back then thats whats up no problems but this is the scamming thread people state there issues we comment if you dont like the comments or as you say common sense statements DONT SCAM PEOPLE and you will not have to worry about it. Glad you handled up and did the right thing
