TJ O'Connor, aka projekX on EVOM, has a horrendous reputation for getting banned from most if not all BMW forums. He has even scammed forum vendors and many more people through ebay.

He has used the names Fibreoptix, ProjekOREO, BlackNWhite, the list goes on.

Just look for the stupid spellings of "pixths" "whipths" or "projek" and you have your guy.

He is a scammer through and through and has a severe attitude problem.

so about a month ago i purchased 2 guages from 2 people on this site. i bought an defi EGT gauge and an AEM wideband from 2 different people on the forums. after waiting to have the gauges installed for about a month maybe even more for the AEM. the shop that installed them tells me that the DEFI gauge does not work. it has a reading when the car is dead cold and this should not be. they also said the AEM was a little funky too. im going to pick up my car from the shop today and will see what the real problem is. however i deleted my PM's to free up room and cannot remember who sold me the AEM gauge. i no i spent well over a 100 on it. IM SO AGGRAVATED I CAN NEVER CATCH A BREAK WITH GAUGES THIS IS LITERALLY MY 4th set!

any advice on how i can track this jerk down?

did u use paypal? they hold the records for a long time and that would give you his email addy

 

Hey guys , I am mostly a lurker here, and check the FS from time to time. I recently purchased a oem speaker sub for my off one of the users here (sfevolution8) early last month. He specified to paypal him as a gift to avoid fees. He never provided me a tracking number just claimed he sent it. After several pms, he said it checked and it was delivered, I went ahead and asked what address did you ship it to? what service? What is the tracking number? He did not reply. I threatened to file a paypal claim, however paypal notified me stating that a claim is not possible because the transaction was set as a gift to avoid fees. I have been purchasing from car forums for years, and never had an issue until now. Guys beware of this member, he comes on every 2 to 3 days, I have given him more than enough time to make this right but w.e.
